ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB

The TBHF National U17 Camp started with a round robin tournament event. Representatives from Ankara, Istanbul, Koceli and Erzurum were to be represented in the show case event. Koceli failed to attend the national event do to a problem with school. GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB, the U15 team stepped up to take Koceli place. GENÇLİK SPOR U15 won all three games in the round robin event to win the tournament.

GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB won 6-3 v. ISTANBUL

GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB won 4-3 v. ANKARA

GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB won 10-1 v. ERZURUM

Notes:

Keith McAdams served as Head Coach of Development Camp and Turkish Ice Hockey Federation Coaching Educational Program in Erzurum.

ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB had 15 out 17 selected for All Star Game. This signifies Erzurum had 15 of the best 30 players in Turkey.

Muslims & Christians Athletes Take To The Ice For Hockey School:

The Fellowship for Christian Athletes will visit and run a hockey school on June 14-18 in Erzurum Turkey. Todd Lohstreter coach for FCA arrived in Erzurum for visit today to inspect the facilities. Keith McAdams Coaching Director of Erzurum, Yeliz Yuksel Head Coach, NARMAN SPOR BUZ HOKEY BAYAN TAKIMI, İkram Çintima Manager of ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR BUZ HOKEYİ and Todd Lohstreter coach for FCA visited all the facilities in Erzurum. Keith McAdams announced today that Yeliz Yuksel will be Program Director for the camp. "Yeliz has been a great influence in the development of hockey in Turkey. She has played on the Woman National Team, captain of World University Team, served as coach for the National Development Program for TBHF, said Keith McAdams. "Yeliz speaks great English and served as translator for GSIM during the World University Games."

"We have high hopes for this project," Said Keith McAdams. "The program is designed to create friendships, develop hockey and exchange culture. We presently have plans on the drawing boards for joint camps, international tournaments in Erzurum and GENÇLİK SPOR U18 and Senior Clubs to travel for the USA for Tournament." ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR BUZ HOKEYİ will hold camp for two groups of U14 and another group of Woman.

Keith McAdams will miss the first two days of camp because GENÇLİK SPOR U14 & U10 teams will be playing for the National Championship of Turkey.
