03.01.2011-ERZURUM 2011 PRESS RELEASE- Erzurum Women Cup which will be held with the participant countries of Turkey, Bulgaria, and Slovenia competition will continue for a week.After Erzurum Women Cup medal awarding ceremony will be held for the teams ranking.
Turkish National team trained by Keith McAdams and his assistant Kaan Budak came together with Slovenia in the first match of Erzurum Women Cup.Turkey was defeated by 7-0 by the Slovenian team. Turkish National team will be competing against Bulgaria tomorrow evening at 17:00pm. Woman hockey in Turkey has made great progress under the leadership of Keith McAdams. Turkey is presently ranked last in the world, but on there resent visit to Latvia, Turkey managed to win four games against division one hockey teams. Turkey has only been competing in Woman hockey for four years.
