14.10.2010-Womens team started their camp in Ice Skating Hall at Ankara with their American trainer Keith Mcadams.National team trains twice every day and has 33athletes.Mens team performes a fitness camp in Bolu.Ice Hockey Federation President Akın Kılavuz said that short time is left to games for this reason we have fastened the trainings.National teams will camp till January 27th 2011.
‘’Our preparations will consist of physical fitness,domestic and international camps. Womens team will compete in the final test events first week of January, with countries like Spain and Bulgaria.Mens team will continue their camp in Kocaeli after the camp in Bolu.Athletes are limited with 15 days off until the games.We’ll be competing against very powerful countries like Russia, United States, Canada and Slovakia.’’ In the coming days women and men will be going to camp in Slovenia and Ukraine.We want to play our best.Currently we are in the 35th global avarage but the teams we’ll compete takes part in first 11.’’

Kılavuz, stated that there are talented athletes , but it would be difficult for these names to change the fate of the team.’’In abroad there are 4-5 national team athletes who can play.Our works are continuing on this issue.We will supply foreign athletes for the mens team.’’
